The Chinese Language School of Saskatoon is a non-for-profit organization. We appreciate your donation to support our school. All donations will be used on students’ scholarship, school activities and events. As donors, you will be recognized at our website and at our school events. All donors will receive tax receipts for their contribution.

2015年萨城中文学校25周年校庆筹款邀请信

萨城中文学校在2014年12月被中国国务院侨务办公室授予海外“华文教育示范学校”称号。最初成立于1975年。当时条件异常艰苦，生源匮乏，只有几个学生。中途还曾经几次易名。华人、华侨前辈为了中华文化能代代相传，发扬光大，他们克服重重困难,坚持办学。在1990年，萨城中文学校经过省政府审批，正式注册为非盈利慈善机构。
萨城中文学校的办学宗旨：学习中国语言文字； 传承中华优秀文化；搭建民间友谊桥梁；创建多元文化社会！
萨城中文学校教授汉语拼音和简体汉字，自1995年起，开始使用由中国国务院侨办提供的《中文》教材。教材系统、完整，从学前班到小学、初中、高中，直至成人班都有成套教材可供选择。
萨城中文学校目前是萨省规模最大、人数最多、管理最为规范的语言学校。今年注册学生已超过200人。现设班级、课程：学前班至九年级文化课；萨省教育部承认的高中10、11、12年级中文学分课；以及成人初级、高级班。课外活动兴趣班：葫芦丝班、唱歌班、素描班、绘画班、舞蹈大班、舞蹈小班、手工班、武术班、数学大班、数学小班。
萨城中文学校租借萨城公立高中教室。文化课：每星期六下午1：30-3：30上课；兴趣班：3：30-4：30上课。成人班3：30-5：30上课；高中学分班3：30-6：30上课。

中文学校历经艰难困苦，克服重重阻力，迈过二十多年的旅程，这是多么值得我们自豪的壮举！ 我们自豪！我们骄傲! 我们是萨城中文学校的一分子。二十五周年校庆将是我们中文学校发展史上重要的里程碑，也是所有中文学校家长、学生、老师、校委和关心学校发展，慷慨资助办学的每一位志士仁人的一件喜事。
我们希望通过举办这次校庆，展示办学成就，提高学校声誉，推动学校全面发展；加强对外交流，扩大对外影响，增强学校凝聚力、向心力，激发全体师生的活力，把握契机为中文学校的发展注入动力。

Chinese Language School of Saskatoon 25th Anniversary Celebration

Sponsorship and Donation Request

The Chinese language school was originated in 1975 in Saskatoon. In 1990, the Chinese Language School of Saskatoon (CLSS) was officially formed and registered as a charitable, non-for-profit organization in Saskatchewan.

The Mission Statement of the CLSS: studying Chinese language; showcasing Chinese cultures; building and bridging friendship; and establishing a multicultural society.

Currently, the CLSS is the largest heritage language school in Saskatchewan (statistics supported by Saskatchewan Organization for Heritage Languages) with over 200 students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12 credit classes, as well as Adult Chinese language classes. In addition to language classes, CLSS also offers extra-curriculum classes including: Hulusi Flute, choir, sketching, drawing, senior dance, junior dance, crafts, martial arts, senior math, junior math. All classes are offered on Saturdays, between September and June at Aden Bowman Collegiate, at 1904 Clarence Ave S, in Saskatoon.

2015 marks the 25th anniversary of the Chinese Language School of Saskatoon. It has taken numerous volunteers many years of commitment, persistence, and dedication to reach this milestone. To recognize this important milestone the school has been organizing a series of events to celebrate this meaningful year – an opportunity for celebration, reflection and innovation.

Looking back at the incredible challenges and hard work that brought the school together, we sincerely thank all the teachers, students, parents, volunteers, donors, and board members who have worked together to make the CLSS such a success. The 25th Anniversary celebration will bring all of us together, further unite us, and move us forward strongly and successfully into the future.
