Abstract: The COVID-19 outbreak has brought new opportunities and challenges to overseas Chinese education. As a new type of education, online teaching has gained popularity and attention. However, its application faces many difficulties. In the context of “suspending school and non-stop courses,” the Chinese Language School of Saskatoon has been exploring in practice. By optimizing platform selection, teacher training, and home-school interconnection, we have developed a set of solutions to the existing problems, hence contributes to the diversity of overseas Chinese education.

Chinese Language School of Saskatoon starts registration for 2020-2021 New School Year. Deadline is August 31, 2020.
1) Current Students: Please register with your classroom teacher. Parents and teachers shall verify all student information to ensure it is up-to-date, such as: telephone number, Email address, name of the public or catholic school the student attending.
2) New Students: Please register online at the Chinese Language School of Saskatoon website. Kindergarten’s age restriction is: the student must turn 5 years old before the end of August 2020.
